Quality management System

Quality Management is integral for our work here at CoastVW. Alongside having a modern working environment all work is undertaken to our standard Quality Management System as detailed below:

• Customer agrees brief on the job
• Job specification is written
• CoastVW Workshop Manager allocates the job to a technician
• Only OEM or uprated parts are used for all repairs
• Technician photographs all work that is undertaken
• Technician communicates with Workshop Manager if additional work is required outside of the given job specification
• Customer Agreement is sought for any additional works
• Factory torque settings are used and marked on all repairs (torque wrenches are calibrated annually)
• All pipe fittings are marked
• Old parts are retained for customer inspection
• Each procedure undertaken is accurately recorded on the Customer Timesheet
• Vehicle is test-driven
• The vehicle is inspected prior to collection and signed off by the Workshop Manager.
